We had a lovely time in Poiana Brasov in January 2019. We came with low expectations and were surprised to find such a lovely place. We stayed in the Teleferic Grand Hotel - telefericgrandhotel ro - which was probably as good as the ones we have been to in Switzerland and Austria and half the price. The food was terrific. The kids also took lessons with Eden Ski School - edenski ro - and found the instructors great (they did 5 days, 4 hours per day and still wanted more). The price for instruction and equipment is a third of the one in Western Europe. So I would recommend Poiana Brasov to anyone.
