Have visited Passo del Tonale 4 times and about to go for 5th this week (Jan 2023). This area is fantastic for a short break and quick fix of skiing. Great for families and beginners and kids. There are a few challenging runs for more experienced skiers (mainly Presena up at 3000m and a few blacks into Temu). Great value for money and good conditions even when the rest of Europe has no snow. Excellent piste grooming and very few queues. Ski hire and accommodation are very reasonably priced. Food and drink is not expensive. Verdict: Great value. Very snow-sure. Great short break. Great for beginners and intermediates or mixed ability groups.
