Since there is only a listing for Farellones, I will include all three resorts in the area; Colorado, La Parva, and Valle Nevado. All three are are interconnected and can be potentially ridden on a single day. Contrary to established reputation, La Parva by far has the longest, steepest runs, plenty of expert shit that can be accessed through short hikes, and the smallest crowds, thus making it the best of the three in my humble opinion. Valle Nevado is OK but there just isnt enough interesting terrain and caters very poorly to enthusiasts such as myself. Colorado is basically a big open cone with little variety except for the backside and the incredible out of bounds sta. teresita which takes you down to the Valle Nevado road. Start spreading the word though and make La Parva #1.
