Rattenberg Advent

Dates 2014: 28. - 30.11., 05. - 07.12., 12. – 14.12., 19. - 21.12.2014

Historic flair, top-quality cultural programme and warming lights: during Advent the stars twinkle over Rattenberg, Austria’s smallest town. Not only is the town illuminated by candles, open fires and starlight instead of artificial lights the supporting programme and the performances on the main stage have no equal. Children are kept entertained making glass baubles, Christmas biscuits and other fun things.
Programme: Fri starting at 5:00 p.m.: romantic Advent walk followed by an organ concert and other highlights
Sat from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.: children’s programme
Sat from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.: afternoon programme featuring singers, artists and Herbergssuche (Nativity Play)
Sat from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.: main programme on the centre stage
Sun from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.: Anklöpfler groups (Nativity Play) move through the town
Admission fee (towards preserving cultural heritage): € 5,- (Saturday only).

12. to 14. December 2014 Skiopening Alpbachtal 2014

The beginning of the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau skiing season is celebrated with freshly prepared slopes and a fun programme in the heated party marquee.
Fri 12.12. starting at 8:00 p.m. - party time in the marquee at the Pöglbahn in Inneralpbach
Sat 13.12. starting at 9:00 a.m. – free ski testing in the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau skiing area
starting at 8:00 p.m. – party time in the marquee featuring the „Sumpfkröten“
Ski Opening Weekend Package as from € 119,--/ per person bed & breakfast (incl. party programme & 2-days ski pass!)
