Treble Cone is the largest ski field in New Zealand’s South Island and offers the longest vertical rise in Queenstown’s Southern Lakes District. Famous for its’ long uncrowded groomed slopes, legendary off-piste terrain and unrivalled views, Treble Cone is the closest ski field to Wanaka and is only 90 minutes from Queenstown. Treble Cone offers a real New Zealand ski field experience to all snow lovers. For those new to snow sports, we have a free beginner surface lift and uncrowded slope, located alongside the comforts of the Base lodge and café. For the more adventurous, our far-reaching boundaries offer some of the best free-riding terrain in New Zealand; plentiful with natural gullies, wide faces and legendary powder.
Season Dates are 23rd June - 2nd October 2016. Throughout the winter season Treble Cone hosts numerous events including ski and snowboard racing, banked slalom, ice carving, live music and kids days.
