It’s a mild, calm morning with temps in the high 30’s. It will be a dry day that will keep conditions mostly firm on the upper mountain with some softening lower down, setting the stage for a refresh when our next storm arrives, hopefully tomorrow. Even with closing day quickly approaching, we will take all the new flakes that fly with open arms. It looks like it will be another beautiful spring sunny day with temps reaching the upper 40’s, so be prepared with your sunscreen and rocking that goggle tan. Schweitzer is German for crappy snow. I had to live there for 30 years due to my job. The maritime climate makes for wet or icy conditions. Management touts it as a destination resort. Being raised in Jackson Wyoming, I can attest to the fact that Schweitzer lacks the snow, class or ambiance of a destination resort. Go to a resort with higher elevation and finer amenities.
