San Martino Di Castrozza is in the Trentino region of Italy and is a large resort with 22 lifts ( 3 gondolas,14 chair lifts, 5 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 930 metres (3051 feet) of vertical descent. San Martino Di Castrozza has 33 pistes and is within the Dolomiti SuperSki area. San Martino Di Castrozza is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for intermediates but little of interest for expert skiers. I am stunned that fewer non Italians visit here. Scenery is staggering, a good ski area with a variety of runs. A lot of you include Passo Rolle, great hotels. I am writing from the excellent Regina, a town with shops, bars, cafes and super restaurants. All this at half..no exaggeration of the cost of Cortina or Selva. A bargain.
