Erciyes is very different from the alpine resorts. Quieter, more family oriented, all above the treeline, decent snow (on out March visit), very little apres ski. Maybe Obergurgl would be the closest comparator.
The option of staying in Kayseri and using a hire car or taxi ir bus to travel up and back each day might make more sense than staying in resort for most westerners. Kayseri has more nightlife, and has a few sights to explore if there is a whiteout or a claggy day on the mountain.
Yes, there are decent hotels in resort eg the Radisson Blu and the Kaf. But not a huge lot of nightlife. NB some hotels are alcohol free.
If you fancy a change in your skiing holidays then maybe give it a whirl. Especially if you fancy visiting Cappadocia for some amazing landscapes, hiking/walking, hot air balloon rides, horse riding, and cave houses.
