Mittersill in Austria is a large resort with 14 lifts (3 chair lifts, 11 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 730 metres (2396 feet) of vertical descent. Mittersill has 16 pistes. Mittersill is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 52 kilometers (32 miles) of cross country ski trails at Mittersill. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe.

What a fantastic traditional Austrian town! Great slopes, always excellent snow and manages to avoid the crowds of nearby Kitzbuhel. Mittersill has lovely mountain restaurants and very friendly staff!
