Hochrindl in Austria, (in the Karnten region), is a medium sized ski resort with 5 ski lifts (1 chair lift, 4 surface lifts) that offers skiers a respectable 399 metres (1310 feet) of vertical descent. Hochrindl has 20 kilometers (12 miles) of pistes. We have no information about the existence of any cross country ski trails at Hochrindl. The nearest airport is at Klagenfurt.

A brilliant family resort for starters and more seasoned skiers. Excellent runs which are very well maintained. As it is small it is never too busy so no real queues. Some superb Austrian Huttes that sell traditional ski food and drink at very reasonable cost. We will return again. The webcam is an excellent view of the start of the posted.
