It's been a few years since we made it up to this hill, but decided to purchase a Gold season pass for the 23-24 season so we could have a Xmas family holiday. It seemed like the right thing to do even though they don't offer a seniors discount for those over 65. Not sure how many 74 year olds you know that still ski but that's where they have a senior discount. Anyways, as the weatherman did not come through with snow at Xmas this year our Gold ski pass doesn't seem like a great idea anymore. It appears the mountain will now open mid January so we could have purchased the much less expensive Silver Pass as most of the Blocked Out dates are behind us. There is some serious thinking to do regarding the pricing and how to compensate all those Gold Pass holders. Our family still went up the mountain for Xmas and enjoyed the aerial park and walking about in the sun and dry hill. The lack of snow is not the mountains fault but how they respond to all those who purchased those Gold passes to ski at Xmas will be very interesting. I will let you know how it went at seasons end. Hope I have something positive to report as in retirement I plan to spend some time skiing with my full price Gold Pass! I also hope to find out how many 75 year old skiers I find on the hill.
