Arrived Friday, white-out Saturday, glorious clear blue Sunday & Monday and obviously great snow. Just one queue on Sunday, which was also start of French and UK school holidays. Monday none. Some of the lifts are a bit old style but they work to take you up to great bowls with pistes down the middle and great expanses for making your own tracks left and right. A bit like Avoriaz 2000 but no crowds.
Single lift link over two mountains to Pra du Loup opens up other slopes, including a non-pisted easy black. Pra du Loup busier and less varied.
Village itself has half a dozen restaurants & a couple of bars. Enough for me.
Just over 2 hours from Nice airport by car, on smallish roads, or from center of Nice by 2-car train then connecting bus 4 times/day (see "Chemin de Fer de Provence"). A bit of a rattle trap but it works.
Well worth a try, recommended.
