Buşteni is located in the Prahova Valley, at the foot of Caraiman Mountains. The resort has a reputation for some extreme skiing as well as the usual cruising slopes. Buşteni ski field has one chairlift and one surface lift (area has two cable cars to Babele and Pestera). Buşteni deserves to be better known outside Romania.

Busteni ski resort is one of the best resorts from Romania. It has 2 very good slopes with a high speed cable machine chair. I have been here many times with my friends. It is not expensive. You can find good restaurants near the slopes. We found very nice accommodation for 6 persons and the price was really good. The owners of Apart Luxor were very nice to us. I hope we will go again next winter.
