Braunwald, in Switzerland, is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts (including 2 gondolas, 3 chair lifts & 3 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 650 metres (2130 feet) of vertical descent. Braunwald has 32 kilometers (20 miles) of pistes. There are 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) of cross country ski trails at Braunwald. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe.
