Bellevaux in France is a large resort with 23 lifts (3 chair lifts, 20 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 700 metres (2297 feet) of vertical descent. Bellevaux has 34 pistes. Bellevaux is only really suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. There are 50 kilometers (31 miles) of cross country ski trails at Bellevaux. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park. About one quarter of the pistes at Bellevaux are covered by snowmaking.
