The route up Mt Cinto (Haut Asco) peak sets off from Haut Asco ski resort and follows red paint up a good scramble to a semi-permanent ice field. There is lots of snow and ice in winter at Mt Cinto (Haut Asco), otherwise a good scramble in summer. Great views of Corsica from the summit. Mt Cinto (Haut Asco) takes 4 hrs up and 3 hrs down. In good winter conditions you can slide down in 2.

If you have skins then from top of new lift follow old lift to enjoy some off-piste with the usual caution.
